matters of the heart

Being an adult woman in her 40's and having 2 children and being happily married for 15 years, I wonder sometimes where is the fairy tale romance that I use to dream about as a little girl. Life is so complicated and we live at such a fast and involved pace that the little things in life don't hold the time value that we need them to. That is why we are always so emotionally drained. We rob ourselves of time spent enjoying the beauty that surrounds us. The fast pace mock 2 with your hair on fire is just not for me!!!!!!

  2. I really think that it's like anything else in life, the important things in life we just need to make a priority. The problem is that our priorities are all messed up. Our priorities are more about thins then they are about people.

  3. Speaking from someone who's real fairy tale has come to an end.....Trust me! Everyday you get to spend together is a fairy tale. That saying "You don't know what you have until it's gone." Play's over and over in my head all the time. I know that we are all so busy, but just sitting together or talking over breakfast is still enough. Enjoy it....and never ever take it for granted because all good things come to an end at some point. Live life and enjoy love today. Tomorrow will come soon enough.

  4. Louise, #one the fairy tale (???) has not ended you have just started a new chapter. Imbrace and live it. Remember some parts are good and some parts make us cry.

I dont think all good things come to end they just change and usually we cant see the good thing till it changed anyway.
